My work takes a food systems perspective, where from my beginnings in grassroots’ food waste through to working in international food policy projects, I have extensive knowledge of how others have extended their work from radical to formal, in person to virtual, and from grassroots to government impact. As an experienced researcher, I can manage research and urban sustainability projects from beginning to end, i.e., design, conduct, evaluate and disseminate the outcomes of a broad variety of research projects.
As an Evaluator for the EU ERC Starting Grant program and as an active participant in EU H2020 IA and ERC Consolidator projects, I can write full drafts or provide advice on what works for grant proposals.
As a work package leader in numerous international projects, I can support and lead on multi-sectoral, cross-cultural and interdisciplinary projects on sustainability issues. I have the skills, passion and experience to trouble shoot what seem to be insurmountable problems to achieve your goals.
As an experienced writer and self-starter, I can write articles and books on demand. For example, if you have a topic that you’d like written up, or would like support co-writing it, I know all the steps and have the extensive writing ability, to push it through to publication.
As a teacher in community and university domains (from teaching undergraduate through to supervising Masters’ and PhD students), I can mentor students from diverse fields and levels to help write essays and theses.
